Water & power
The water shutoff is in the crawlspace, directly under the kitchen. The breaker panel is in the laundry room. If the power goes out, it's usually the whole street — check with a neighbour before flipping breakers.
Fire safety
Fire extinguishers are under the kitchen sink and beside the wood stove. Please fully extinguish the fire pit with water before bed — embers travel in the valley wind.
Garbage & wildlife
This is bear country. Keep garbage in the latched bins at all times, and never leave food scraps outside. Collection day is Tuesday morning.
